Energy Navigator Cares
At Energy Navigator, we believe that being a true industry leader isn’t just about the products and services we provide.
Of course, the quality and performance of our products and the success of our clients is paramount. But the success of our clients, our employees and our company also depends on the well-being of the communities in which we operate. Energy Navigator’s commitment to good corporate citizenship and social responsibility focuses our efforts in two main areas:
In addition, each quarter the EN Cares Committee in our Calgary office helps to foster a sense of community by organizing fundraising and volunteer opportunities in support of a different charity. Our staff give their time and money to causes they believe in and Energy Navigator is proud to match those donations as an organization. Calgary community initiatives supported by the EN Cares Committee include Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, the Calgary Humane Society, YYC Tech Gives, and Calgary Urban Project Society (CUPS).
In addition to giving to the community, we also think it’s essential to give back to the industry that supports us.
Supporting Students and Education
Energy Navigator supports the future of oil and gas by donating millions of dollars’ worth of software to the petroleum engineering programs at educational institutions including SAIT, the University of Calgary, the University of Alberta, University of Regina, the University of Houston, and Texas A&M. Supporting Industry Members in Transition
For current members of the industry, we’ve instituted a policy offering free temporary software licenses and training to out of work professionals looking to enhance their skills while they search for their next position. For more information on this program, click here.
Supporting Technical Advancement
Energy Navigator has an active, ongoing engineering research program. We invest at least 10 per cent of our gross annual revenues into industry focused research that leads to new forecasting methodologies, and a better understanding of reservoir valuation. We share our expertise freely and contribute to the ongoing scholarship of our industry through technical papers and conference presentations for organizations such as SPE, SPEE, CSUR, and SPRE.
